From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot stated he and four passengers departed camarillo CA (cma) at 10:00 am for a flight to Vacaville CA (vcb). On arrival he selected landing gear extension but the circuit breaker popped and the gear failed to extend. He then attempted the emergency extension system but it was jammed (it is a hand crank system). He then performed some yawing maneuvers to jar the gear loose. This worked and the gear free fell down but the pilot did not have a gear safe indication in the cockpit. The pilot landed and during roll-out the gear collapsed with the aircraft rolling at about 5KTS. There were no injuries to the pilot or the four passengers on the aircraft nor was there any property damage. Damage to the aircraft is minor, one propeller blade, cowling, some belly skin damage and the lower cylinders on both engines as well as the gear extension upper sprocket on the right hand main gear.
