From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) While on a VFR cross country from tqk to ffl the pilot reported having problems with the radios and noticed a discharge on the ammeter. After load shedding some of the electrical equipment, the pilot extended the landing gear and began an approach to myz. The pilot indicated that the landing gear appeared to extend normally but there was no gear down and locked indicator or gear unsafe indication. The landing gear collapsed on landing and the aircraft sustained damage to the propeller, flaps and belly skin. There were no injuries to the pilot or the three passengers.
