(-23) Independence air flight #1784 arrived at the gate in Greensboro, NC at 1148L. Aircraft taxied to the gate after landing with the number 2 engine only (company procedure). Captain stated that he set the parking brake, selected ground power on the overhead panel and then shut down the number 2 engine by selecting the fuel cutoff. While shutting down the nose gear collapsed.

(-23) INDEPENDENCE AIR FLIGHT #1784 ARRIVED AT THE GATE IN GREENSBORO, NC AT 1148L. AIRCRAFT TAXIED TO THE GATE AFTER LANDING WITH THE NUMBER 2 ENGINE ONLY (COMPANY PROCEDURE). CAPTAIN STATED THAT HE SET THE PARKING BRAKE, SELECTED GROUND POWER ON THE OVERHEAD PANEL AND THEN SHUT DOWN THE NUMBER 2 ENGINE BY SELECTING THE FUEL CUTOFF.
