From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Dala 1562, a B-767-332, N118DL, enroute from sea to atl diverted to oma due to a loss of fuel from the left wing. After a loss of approximately 5000 lbs of fuel, the aircraft landed in oma. Contract maintenance personnel discovered a bolt missing from the fuel cross over line from the fuel pump to the fuel management unit (fmu) on the #1 engine. 4 bolts (p/n J644P094, washers and flange gasket) were replaced. System leak checked and aircraft departed for atl.
