From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) PIC stated that he made a gear-up landing on runway 19 at the Neosho, MO airport (eos). He was the sole occupant, was not injured, and the damage to the airplane was minor: bent propeller and belly skin abrasions. A mechanic at the airport provided a post-incident inspection report: he observed the gear selector handle in the up position, throttle was at idle, and flaps were full down. Once the airplane was lifted off the runway, battery power was applied. He did not detect a gear warning alarm. He moved the landing gear selector to the down position, the landing gear extended normally, and the green gear down light illuminated.
