From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Airman attempted to land in gusty crosswind conditions (13 to 23 knots direct right crosswind). Aircraft floated 1000 feet down runway, after touchdown airman raised flaps and pushed yoke full forward while applying maximum braking. Both main gear tires have bald spots, one down to 2 layers of fabric. Aircraft went off end of runway, one landing gear door struck and broke a runway light and one prop blade had FOD damage. One propeller blade damaged beyond repair and propeller hub may have to be replaced.
