From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot crashed into parked vehicle, injuring man inside. Pilot reported brakes had locked when applied after touchdown. Inspection of brakes revealed that at no time the brakes had ever locked up. Inspection also revealed that the left brake disc was worn. Records show that left brake linnings were changed, however disc was not. Several witnesses reported that the pilot came in too fast and landed long. Pilot stated that he shut down engine power and had no control of aircraft. As a result the aircraft crashed into vehicle.
