From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

(-23) Pilot privacy data omitted was enroute from fargo, north dakota (FAR) to Fergus Falls, MN (ffm) in N5094C a Cessna CE-310R. On the flight the pilot reported the clouds from 2,800 MSL to 7,000 MSL and his flight at 5,000 MSL was bringing him in and out of icing conditions. The winds aloft forecast showed the temperatures around -12 degrees celsius. ATC advised the pilot privacy data omitted that he was cleared to 3,000 feet and was cleared for the ILS 31 approach at ffm. On the approach the pilot privacy data omitted collected ice on the wings and tail. He used the deice boots to brake the ice off the wings. Once at the lom the pilot privacy data omitted broke out of the clouds and cancelled his IFR flight plan. The pilot privacy data omitted noticed ice on the wings and tail he proceeded on the approach using 0 flaps and about 120 knots. The pilot privacy data omitted was holding a faster approach speed due to the gusty winds at 27 gusting to 37 out of the northwest. When the pilot privacy data omitted arrived over the runway he brought the power back and the airplane came down to the runway hard collapsing right gear and the airplane veered off the right side of runway 31 pivoting on the right wing. The wing and the horizontal stabilizer sustained substanital damage.
