From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) After pilot landed, he was instructed by the ground crew to hover to a different location for patient pickup. Neither the ground personnel or pilot saw the powerlines at the new location. Shortly after takeoff, the helicopter came in contact with the powerlines, which subsequently resulted in damage to the main rotor blades, and engine/transmission cowling. After reviewing the 135 general operations manual (flight operations - ch. 3, rev. 127), it appears that cj systems guidance, does not address procedures on how to depart from an unsecure area. privacy data omitted

As the FAA filed it

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^
