From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The pilot privacy data omitted was sole person on board aircraft when landing runway 24. He claimed the gear collapsed on landing when brakes were applied. The damage to the aircraft show all indications that the gear did not collapse and that the gear was in transit when contact with runway was made and slid to a stop in 255 feet. As soon as parts are procured a gear swing will be performed. This form will be amended when a gear swing is completed and additional a/c information is obtained. (-23 amendment) a gear swing was performed on this aircraft after the control rods were replaced that were damaged during landing. The gear retract system worked flawlessly indicating that there was no mechanical or electrical reason the gear would have collapsed.
