From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Air ambulance helicopter was landing at a hospital pad with the pilot as sole occupant to recover the medical crew at the hospital. During landing the helicopter's tail rotor struck a 6' high fence and contact made several small holes in the fuselage of the helicopter and minimal damage to the fence with no injuries or other damage reported. There was a second helicopter running on the same large pad when this helicopter made its approach and landing to the pad striking the tail rotor.
