From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) During an attempt to land the aircraft at tta airport the aircraft experienced a crosswind coming from the left side of the aircraft. Upon touchdown the left wing raised, lifting the left main landing gear from the ground. While attempting to level the aircraft, it departed the runway to the right onto the grass median. The aircraft then came back down onto both main landing gear. At that point the aircraft began a slip/skid continuing to the right causing the sideload on the right main landing gear to be too great. The right main landing gear collapsed and the aircraft came to rest after turning approximately 180 degrees. The pilot and passenger safely egressed the aircraft with no injuries.
