From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot was attempting to land at Wells, Nevada airport on runway 8 with a 12 knot crosswind from the north. Just prior to touch down, the aircraft developed a high sink rate and bounced on the runway then lifted off. The next time it touched the ground, the aircraft was on the north side of the runway in the dirt and sage brush. Here, the nose wheel broke off the aircraft and the propeller contacted the ground causing the aircraft to flip forward. The fuselage was wrinkled approximately one foot aft of the right hand door, the vertical stabilizer was crushed, both wing spars were damaged and the propeller blades were curled and twisted off. No injuries to the occupants.
