From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The private, mult-engine rated pilot with two passengers was taxiing to rw 8L at Pueblo municipal airport, Colorado, with intent to takeoff for a pleasure flight. During taxi the aircraft sustained minor damage when the right main landing gear wheel and brake assembly separated from the strut. Investigation showed that the weld appeared to have failed at the point where the lower casting attaches to the strut assembly. The right propeller sustained damage and the right wing tip fuel tank was damaged and ruptured. There was no fire and no injuries. An m or d report is planned to be filed.
