From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Aircraft was landed with the landing gear in the retracted position. The pilot stated that he had put the gear handle in the down position but failed to verify a gear down indication prior to landing. According to the pilot the landing gear warning horn never sounded. Subsequent to the incident, maintenance was able to initially lower the gear electrically. However, during further attempts to raise and lower the gear, the landing gear circuit breaker would open. In addition, maintenance determined that the landing gear warning horn would not activate until the throttle position was at idle. privacy data omitted
