From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The pilot reported that his flight from brandon State airport (S05) was normal, but when he extended his landing gear in preparation for landing at bok he moved the landing gear selector handle from the "up" position to the "center" position rather than the "down" position and therefore the landing gear did not extend. The pilot stated he used the pre-landing checklist, but that he did not verify that the landing gear was safely extended by checking for the "green lights" as the checklist calls for. No mechanical problems contributed to this mishap.
