From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) While landing the aircraft on runway 23 at the mt. Pocono airport (mpo) in mt. Pocono, PA, the aircraft veered to the left when the tail wheel contacted the ground. It was later discovered the right spring assembly attached to the tail wheel was disconnected from the tail wheel assembly. The pilot used right rudder to counteract the left turn and as a result, the left wing dipped, and contacted the ground causing damage to the left wing tip and aileron assembly. Winds were light and variable, weather was clear and there were no reported injuries.
