From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On 06/15/2006 at approximately 1825 EDT, a Boeing (stearman) A75L3, N65845, registered to h & h aeroworks, ground looped during landing at Clinton county airport, Ohio (I66) during a local pleasure flight. After the landing and during the roll out at approximately 40 KTS, the tail of the aircraft began to rotate or fishtail in a clockwise direction causing the left wing to strike the runway as the aircraft made a sharp right turn and exited off the right side of the runway into the grass. The lower left wing was substantially damaged during the ground loop. The ATP rated pilot was the sole person on board, and was not injured.
