What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) Upon landing on runway 18 at new Century Aircenter (ixd), Olathe, Kansas, the aircraft went off the left side of the runway and the nose wheel collapsed. The pilot and two passengers (both certificated pilots) reported that touchdown on the main landing gear was normal. However, when the nose wheel touched down, the airplane veered sharply to the left. The aircraft had prior damage to the nose wheel fork assembly, apparently due to being turned beyond the towing limits. Incident privacy data omitted is closed with this report.
