From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Upon gear down selection on arrival for landing at Flagstaff, AZ (flg) pilot states he had 2 green lights (mains), no lights for the nosegear, and the red "gear unlocked" light was illuminated. He advised the flg tower and requested a fly by. The tower advised they saw the 2 main gear, but no nose gear. He had plenty of fuel and advised flg tower that he would leave the pattern to work on his problem. After gear recycling and completing the abnormal/emergency checklist, he returned to the pattern for landing. He did one more fly by at which time the tower advised they now saw 3 landing gear. Upon landing at flg, runway 21, the nose gear did collapse during the landing rollout, leaving the runway to the left, and came to stop with the nose gear retracted, the mains extended. Damage to the aircraft was reported minor, with no injuries.
