From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The PIC states, that he was arriving from the southwest and received N07, (caldwell airport) landing info and set up for a runway 19 approach. A stationair advised that he had just landed and to use runway 01. The PIC further states that he came around and did an approach to runway 01. He touched down close to the numbers, but by mid-point of the runway he was still moving rapidly. At this point he decided to go around but felt that he did not have enough runway remaining to do so. He states he made a best effort to stop but came to rest in a soft area just past the runway end.
