From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot attempted takeoff on turf rwy 9, Champ field (6PS3), Knoxville, PA at approximately 2:15 pm local, after filling an IFR flight plan to allegheny airport (agc). Pilot stated engine power check prior to takeoff was satisfactory and 15 degrees of flaps were selected for the takeoff. Pilot stated he rotated aircraft at approximately 60-65 knots indicated airspeed. Aircraft flew in ground effect and the landing gear was retracted. A positive rate of climb and increasing airspeed was achieved. Pilot stated he was not satisfied with climb performance and elected to retract the wing flaps. The right wing dropped slightly and the stall warning activated. Pilot elected to abort takeoff and retarded engine throttle to idle. Aircraft settled in level attitude and impacted ground, slid off runway through a drainage ditch and came to rest in grassy field adjacent to runway departure end. No injuries were sustained by the two occupants and the aircraft sustained minor damage. Limited engine inspection revealed no obvious defects beyond impact damage. Pilot stated weight and balance calculations indicated aircraft weight at 400 pounds below gross takeoff weight.
