What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) Private pilot ^privac^ was flying the aircraft. Pilot was on final for runway 22R at Chandler airport (chd). Both the instructor and the pilot stated that the approach was low, using full flaps (30 degrees) and about 10 knots fast. The touchdown was hard and the aircraft bounced and when it came down it veered off to the runway to the right went across desert, taxiway into the parking area and struck a parked aircraft N3876B. The instructor stated that she did not react in time to keep the aircraft from leaving the runway, she stated that she was complacent. She also stated that she let the private pilot fly from the right seat so he could start getting familiar with that seat, since he was ready for his commercial checkride and would be starting on his instructor rating. The pilot ^privac^ stated he did not know what made the aircraft veer off the runway.
