From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The pilot privacy data omitted accompanied by his father, on approach to private airport (57GA), landed aircraft N210SJ down wind and long down runway 18 to which upon contacting runway, failed to get the aircraft safely stopped. Tire skid marks were observed. Beginning approximately 3/4 the way down towards the end of rwy 18. Due to the excessive speed, the aircraft proceeded through the end of rwy 18, continued up an embankment, and coming to a rest approximately 300' from the end of rwy 18 in a small wooded area. No injuries were reported, however, substantial damage to the RH wing spar was noted.
