From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) N100UX, great lakes airlines flight 5070 was inbound from saf to den. Check airman was conducting first officer ioe. First officer was the flying pilot landing at den. During touchdown runway 34R, the aircraft landed hard on the nose gear causing minor damage to the nose gear drag brace. First officer stated he was on speed and the aircraft just kind of settled and landed hard nose first. The check airman stated the approach was normal to runway 34R except for the last 4 feet above ground. The f/o began to drift off centerline, and allowed the nose to drop as he corrected for drift and reduced power. Maintenance was notified and the passengers deplaned at the gate. There were no injuries. Weather was VMC with winds 040 @ 7 KTS.
