From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On a flight from batavia, Ohio, the pilot landed the aircraft at kloz because he had lost altitude and airspeed indications. After conversation with the airport manager at loz, I was unable to obtain the name of the pilot who landed the aircraft or the pilot who flew it out the following day. The airport manager indicated that the pilot that flew the aircraft in departed the scene shortly after landing, stating that he would not fly the aircraft any further. He further stated that a mechanic and another delivery pilot were flown in and the aircraft departed loz on 10/07/06 after repair was made. The airport manager did not know the name of the mechanic or the pilot who flew the aircraft out and no fuel was purchased at loz. The aircraft has had the registration pending since July 2, 2004, according to aircraft registration in okc. I have been unable to contact the alleged present owner in order to ascertain the current status.
