The landing gear, doors, and retractable step showed no signs of damage due to being in-transit while the aircraft skidded on the runway, however, the aircraft was found to have the landing gear selector in the down position and the circuit breaker to the landing gear actuation motor popped and the landing not in the full up-and-locked position. The aircraft was lifted off the runway and the landing gear emergency hand crank was operated to lower the gear without resistance. Later, the aircraft was taken to a maintenance hangar where the landing gear was cycled up and down with no malfunctions and the landing gear position lights and aural warning device was found to work properly as well.
