What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) The PIC stated the aircraft experienced a complete electrical failure after takeoff. Returning for the landing, no flaps could be used speed 87 KTS, emergency gear drop normal. Short final the PIC noticed a small Cessna aircraft still on the runway and not enough clear area available to land safely as he approached the rwy threshold. Low altitude the PIC applied full power caused the aircraft to torque-roll left and striking the left wing area. The landing caused substantial damage to both wings and separated the tail section from the aircraft as well as the engine. The aircraft came to rest near the ramp area, no fire. PIC and one passenger no injuries. The PIC has "no" current flight review logged. The aircraft has "no" ELT installed at the time of the accident.
