What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The aircraft exited the runway to the left leaving a left main gear skid mark in trail. The aircraft continued for a distance of two hundred yards. During the continued forward motion, the aircraft right main landing gear contacted a drainage culvert which caused a landing gear separation from the airframe. The right landing gear strut was forced up into the right wing causing considerable structural damage. The aircraft continued its forward motion onto, subsequently over and slightly past the intersecting runway 21 prior to coming to a complete stop. The pilot privacy data omitted was slightly injured with a laceration on the arm which did not require immediate attention. The pilot privacy data omitted contacted the kestrel aviation fixed base operator and left an after hours message regarding the accident.
