From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot landed aircraft with the gear retracted. The following is the statement taken from the pilot the day of the accident: "I was repositioning my friend's aircraft from meacham airport (ftw) to Hicks airport (T67), as I was coming in to land, I heard a voice on the UNICOM frequency saying 'go around, your gear is up.' As I heard the voice on the radio, I did not have enough time to react and add power to do a go-around, I actually did not notice that the gear was not extended until I landed." During the interview with the pilot, he also stated that he did not hear the gear warning horn neither did he check the three green lights indicating that the gear was down and locked.
