From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) N7406Y was on final approach to runway 2C at Nashville international. Pilot stated that he accomplished landing checklist but did not ensure landing gear down. The pilot privacy data omitted stated that the gusty wind and blowing snow caused him not to note the gear down indication. The aircraft landed with the landing gear only partially down. Subsequent maintenance determined that the landing gear motor was seized and the gear circuit breaker had popped. The landing gear down light was also found to be burned out.
