From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) British airways and the NTSB has taken over the investigation of this incident. The aircraft left for london that night 3 hours after landing. I was unable to get the captain's information such as medical and ATP # as I was home at the time of this incident. The same applies to the first officer. There was no damage to the aircraft nor were there any injuries. (-23 additional narrative) a british airways B-747-400 landing on runway #30 in Miami December 26, 2006 ran over two (2) runway end lights while turning off runway 30 after landing at the Miami International Airport. Visual meteorological conditions existed at the time of this incident. The flight (BA209) originated in london at the heathrow airport. The airplane stopped facing northeast on the hard surface over run area of runway 30. After a 50 minute delay the airplane was towed to gate. There were no injuries or damage to the aircraft. I went out the next day and took some photos along with the NTSB. These pictures were turned over to the NTSB. Aircraft registration is g-bnlm.
