From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The operator was going to spray a field approximately 1.5 miles from his home strip. He had loaded 250 gallons of chemical and 45 gallons of avgas on his aircraft prior to departing to spray. After he had dispensed all the chemicals he headed back to his strip when the aircraft lost power. He did an emergency landing in a muddy field. The aircraft flipped on its back due to the muddy conditions. The flight was only 30 to 35 minutes in duration. The pilot stated that he had tried to wobble pump fuel just in case it was a fuel pump, this did not work. There is only minor damage to the aircraft wing tip and the propeller.
