From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The runway braking action was reported as good by a G-1159 aircraft 30 minutes prior to N4WG landing. The runway conditions for runway 06 were: patchy thin snow over ice. N4WG departed the right side of runway 06 at the mid-field point, and came to rest in the safety area, approximately 20 feet from the edge of the runway. The nose gear hit the runway edge lights, which damaged the nose gear door.
