From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Aircraft was returning to Boulder City airport (61B) from a tour flight of the grand canyon. At approx 30 miles north east of the airport at 6500 feet MSL, @ IAS 110 mph the pilot noted a warning horn and associated hydraulic warning light on the annunciator panel. Pilot slowed the aircraft down to 60 mph and performed a run on landing at Boulder City airport on runway 27R. Aircraft safely landed with no injuries and no post fire. Maintenance troubleshot the discrepancy and found the hydraulic pump coupling splines worn off due to excessive movement on the hydraulic pump shaft. Maintenance will submit a malfunction or defect report to AFS-750.
