From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) N419FJ, an DO-328-300 aircraft executed the VOR DME a approach to kteb, and circled to land on runway 24. METAR weather: wind 300 degrees, 20 knots, gusting to 27 knots, 10 sm overcast at 5000 feet, temperature 8, dew point 2, altimeter 2985. The aircraft touched down in the first 1300 feet of runway 24 with a normal roll out until 70 knots;at that point the crew noticed the right wing started to lift and the PIC then inputted additional right aileron and aircraft reacted normally. The right wing lifted a second time and directional control was lost. The aircraft departed the right side of runway just after taxiway gulf. The aircraft came to rest 75 feet from the runway edge and the left wing tip struck the ground just prior to the aircraft stopping. The landing touch down and roll was normal on the centerline. See box 43 for cause and findings.
