From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Aircraft was on its second touch-n-go landing. Upon landing, the aircraft started sinking on the right side. The pilot applied full power to attempt a go around but aircraft would not fly. The throttle was closed and the aircraft slid off the runway to the right. It came to rest approximately 20-30 yards off the runway. Both wings were damaged, the nose wheel was sheared off at the fork, and the right main gear was folded up under the aircraft; the left main was still fully extended and down and locked.
