From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) PIC in the left seat was conducting a soft field takeoff under the direction of the CFI in the right seat while accomplishing a flight review. Early in the takeoff roll the PIC heard a noise, the CFI thought they were getting a flat on the right main, but the plane "veered" to the left. The plane struck several taxiway lights and hit an intersecting taxiway sign with the right main gear. The plane then veered to the right across the runwway, continued across a closed parallel runway, then came to a rest with the right main gear collapsed, to right of the parallel runway.
