From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The pilot was practicing takeoff and landings at Perryville Municipal Airport, Perryville Missouri (K02). The pilot stated he just forgot to lower the landing gear and landed gear up. The aircraft came to rest right on the centerline of the runway. He reported the only distraction was talking to his passenger, grandson, about the landing procedures and he stated he did not hear the landing gear warning horn until after he landed. Damage was done to the belly antennas, belly skin aft of the nose gear doors, left cabin access steps, and the propeller suffered prop strike with the engine sustaining sudden stoppage. The total damage to the aircraft was not substantial.
