From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Airman stalled the aircraft on takeoff at approximately 100 ft AGL. He then landed on a two-lane paved road running perpendicular to the takeoff runway. After landing safely, the pilot departed the road into an adjacent ditch in order to avoid hitting an oncoming vehicle. The aircraft flipped upside down in the ditch sustaining substantial damage. Teh airman recently received his asel rating in a PA-28. The accident happened in a CE-150. The airman believed that inexperience in the lower powered CE-150, compared to the PA-28, was a contributing factor to the aircraft stall.
