From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) PIC reported upon landing and taxiing off the runway surface the right landing gear collapsed. The PIC did not attribute this failure from a possible hard landing. The landing was uneventful but during taxiing off the runway the landing gear collapsed. Inspection: the aircraft had recently been condition inspected by the owner and no discrepancies noted on the landing gears. The picture of the damaged crosstube does not show any material failure. Recommendation: the owner will inspect all airframe tubing for any sign of ongoing corrosion or damage.
