What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) The aircraft lost power upon turning final. The aircraft landed short of the runway due to loss of power. The reason for the power loss is not known at this time. More information will be sent in an amendment when it is obtained. The damage was limited to the nose gear and a slight bend on the prop. The engine will be inspected at a further date for more damage. There was wrinkling on the bottom of the wing near the struts, but after research the damage was found to be from a prior accident.
