From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) This incident involved a Beechcraft F33A that departed mather airport CA (mhr) following maintenance, which included a complete replacement of the interior fabric and intercom installation. The aircraft was moved from mather to Sacramento Executive Airport (sac) by a commercial rated pilot (not the owner) with 70 hours in make and model and a passenger, for troubleshooting a radio problem. Departure from mather was uneventful. Upon reaching Sacramento Executive Airport the pilot attempted to lower the landing gear. The landing gear did not fully extend and the pilot did not get a safe gear indication. The pilot attempted an emergency gear extension but did not get a safe gear indication. A fly by the tower indicated the gear was down. The pilot and passenger exited the aircraft with no injuries after landing on the runway.
