From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Note !! Certificate type - sport pilot. Mechanic trim tab was adjusted before flight. Once in flight, right rudder was needed to maintain proper flight. Upon landing pilot allowed aircraft nose wheel to touch down before aircraft came to a complete stop. Pilot was taught to bring aircraft to a complete stop before lowering nose wheel. Due to right rudder input from incorrect trim tab adjustment, aircraft veered right, then left, then right causing aircraft to roll. Rotor was damaged, propeller was damaged, slight damage to fuselage, and cheek plates were damaged. No injuries to pilot.
