From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23)During landing with cargo on-board, VFR condition at night, the right main landiing gear collapsed. Pilot stated there were not indications of a pending malfunction of the landing gear. He stated even after the gear collapsed the landing gear indication for the right main was still illuminated. Tear-down of micro-switch for landing gear shows the switch failed in the down and locked position. Right main landing gear unlocked but with the switch indicating gear extended, the hydraulics did not activate and gear never extended. Pilot received normal gear down and locked indications in cockpit.
