From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Departed home airport, Spruce Creek, (7FL6) approximately 10:00 am with winds 5 gusting to 10 knots. Returned to home base after approx. 30 minutes for landing and was told the winds were reported to be 15 gusting to 20 knots, 110 to 120 degrees. Use of runway 05 resulted in a crosswind of 60 to 70 degrees at 15 to 20 knots. With half flaps a wheel landing was executed on an area protected from the wind by trees. On roll out, still on the mains, when the aircraft cleared the trees a gust of wind caused the airplane to turn. Resulting in a ground loop off the runway.
