From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The flight instructor and the student (who was a private pilot), were practicing short field landings. The flight instructor stated that he was concentrating on the altitude and did not hear the gear unsafe horn. The student was not sure if he heard the gear unsafe horn or a stall warning horn short final. The aircraft landed with the gear up on the runway. The aircraft had damage to the prop and gear. The aircraft had some skin damage from the aircraft sliding on the runway. The aircraft's flaps were down which reduced the damage to the bottom of the aircraft. The mechanic is looking over the aircraft and will advise if he finds any additional damage.
