From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The pilot approached runway 35 at a slightly higher speed than normal for a short field approach. He also touched down at approximately 1000' down the runway (the runway length is 4051'). The pilot, at about half way down the runway, decided to go around. He decided shortly after putting power in that the aircraft did not develop enough power to go around so he then decided to reduce power and go off the end of the runway. The aircraft damage was limited to the nose gear and nose tunnel, the propellers and some skin damage. There was some skin damage on the nose from aircraft recovery. After talking to privacy data omitted at aerohawk he stated that there will be a 337 for the nose gear damage to the nose tunnel due to the accident. A 337 will also be done for the nose skin damage but that damage was due to recovery.
