From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) During landing roll-out, the nose landing gear collapsed, causing a prop strike, damage to the lower engine cowl, the left and right main landing gear doors, the nose landing gear door and prop spinner. The tail section was tilted down and the pilot was able to pull the nose gear down and lock it in place for towing to hangar. The pilot, who is the repairman/experimental aircraft builder (certificateprivacy data omitted) for N247MW stated to FAA investigators that he miss rigged the nose landing gear actuator which lead to the nose landing gear failure.
