From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The pilot departed the Bountiful Skypark Airport in the early morning about 0730 and returned two hours later. During the landing phase of flight the pilot forgot to extend the gear. When he realized the gear was not down he quickly put the gear handle down but it was too late. He did not remember hearing the gear warning horn. The gear came out partially. Damage was sustained to the prop, flaps, and inner gear doors. There was also some belly scratches. It is recommended that the pilot receive a re-examination check ride.
